Abstract: This will be an expository talk on the covering properties of extended Fatou coordinates and extended horn maps for parabolic fixed points of polynomials. We will also explain how one can read some crucial global information about a polynomial from its extended horn maps. As an application, we will discuss whether two conformally distinct polynomials can have conformally equivalent parabolic (germ) restrictions.
